Great value if you want to stay near shinjuku without the crowds or tiny rooms

Excellent location with plenty of food and shops nearby without being too busy or loud. The room was a good size for 2 people, nice and clean too and the a/c worked well. Really quiet and dark too with the curtains drawn. Self-checkin machine was easy to use and efficient.

Bathroom fan was a bit weak but the bathroom itself was good.

Wonderful

The hotel was excellent - very clean, quiet, and modern. It is also in an excellent location, next to the station, lots of restaurants/cafes, exercise facilities, arcades close by. Highly recommend!

The fan in the bathroom was very loud and could not seem to be turned off which interfered a bit with sleep (as I'm a light sleeper)

Sotetsu Hotels are the BEST, only Sotetsu Hotels Next Time

The cleanliness of the hotel and room; the comfort of the beds and pillows; the friendliness of the staff; the water pressure in the bathroom is strong & steady. The location is excellent, 2 stops away from Shinjuku, 2 min walk from Takadanobaba Station.Also, there are many nice restaurants and shopping stores around if needed.

Fantastic.

Location! Convenient to transport and shops. Love the extensive toiletry and tea supplies on offer on the ground floor, opposite the lifts. Breakfast was simple but good.

Excellent location and with a reasonable price.

Good location with only few minutes walk from the metro and the JR line. The area has so many good restaurants and shopping. Only take 2 stations to the Shinjuku station.

Not much information about where to eat or shop. They should have this information for the tourists.

Great hotel!

One of the best Hotel I've stayed at. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to help. Please keep in mind this is a Business hotel so the rooms are much smaller compared to regular hotels (just part of the culture in Japan). Has many things close by. Loved it so much I came back to stay a 2nd time when I came back from Kyoto.

Awesome Stay

Staff is amazing, thank you so much for all the help and assistance they gave! It's a business style hotel so the rooms are much smaller than what most travelers are use too. Keep that in mind when it come to luggage. Everything close by and walking distance.

What was the highlight of SOTETSU GRAND FRESA TAKADANOBABA

1min walk from the train station, cozy hotel rooms and friendly staffs.

1minute walk from the train station. Convenience stores and supermarket right around the corner (1-2mins). Right next to a Don Quijote, Burger King and KFC. The train commute is close yet far. Travelling Tokyo, Ginza, Akihabara etc is around 30mins on average. They have laundry machines for 500yen for 1kg load, which was handy during long stays and cheap enough. Staffs are friendly and speaks English which is a plus.

The size of the rooms are okay for Tokyo standards, but when it comes to opening and packing your suitcases, the rooms become too small and a hassle. The hotel does not provide water bottles as their water are purified in the hotel rooms, but I personally cannot get myself to drink from the bathroom tap so spent a bit on water during my long stay. The house keeping staff is not around 24hours within the hotel so if there are anything mishaps will need to wait until the next day. We had an incident where the house keeping staff changed our sheets on a routine day but when we returned for the day we could see visible dirty marks on it. Reception said they couldn’t do anything about it as the cleaning staffs were not around anymore.
